The Right Program for Every Age
Ages 4–5 — Pre-Qaida
Very young children begin with Arabic letter recognition — learning to identify and pronounce the 28 Arabic letters. Sessions are short (20–25 minutes) and play-based. Building love for Quran learning is the primary goal at this age.
Ages 6–8 — Noorani Qaida to Basic Quran Reading
Children at this age are in their prime learning window. The teacher moves through Qaida and into Quran reading. 30-minute sessions, 3–5 times per week. This is when foundational habits are built.
Ages 9–12 — Quran Reading + Tajweed + Hifz
Children at this age can handle 45-minute sessions and begin memorization in earnest. Most students complete Juz Amma within 6–12 months at this age with consistent daily sessions.
Ages 13–15 — Advanced Study
Teenagers can engage with more advanced material. Some students at this age are working toward completing the full Quran memorization. Tafseer can be added to give meaning to what is memorized.
